The main focus is resource development in Ethiopia where the Company has first-mover advantage on prospective ground on the Arabian-Nubian shield. Key projects include the gold resources at the Tulu Kapi and Guji prospects and the Yubdo Platinum Mine, located in western Ethiopia.

Kyrgyz Republic

Geography and History

The Kyrgyz Republic is a landlocked country in Central Asia covering some 199,900 square kilometres and was formerly part of the USSR. It borders Kazakhstan to the north, China to the east, Uzbekistan to the west and Tajikistan to the south. Approximately 94% of the country is over 1,000 metres above sea level and about 40% is over 3,000 metres above sea level.

The Kyrgyz Republic gained independence in 1991 from the Soviet Union.
